It has been a bit of a quiet month with this project, but I did manage to drop the transmission and change over the internal transmission plate (if that is what it is called). A nice surprise was that the floor pan in the transmission tunnel already had the hold cut out for the manual transmission shifter. All I had to do was remove the passenger seat, detach some cabling and undo some bolts.
